The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology is a comprehensive, 54 CQF (Cambodian Qualification Framework) credit program structured to develop advanced scholars, mental health leaders, and innovative researchers. Building upon the foundational knowledge of a master’s degree, this three-year doctoral journey provides a rigorous, guided progression from theoretical mastery to independent empirical research.

The curriculum is purposefully designed across three distinct phases to ensure graduates are well-equipped to make significant contributions to the field of psychology

Year 1: Theoretical Foundations: Candidates explore complex and contemporary psychological domains. This includes deep dives into neuroscience, cognitive behavior, therapeutic models, rehabilitation, and forensic psychology, ensuring a robust understanding of both clinical practice and current industry debates.
